Hi, my name is Sarah McDowell, and I just turned 56.
After some hesitation, I have decided to share my story of how I went from weighing 209 lbs and feeling tired all the time to 149 lbs, loving life, and feeling better than ever—all thanks to drinking a delicious Cost Rican tea that a friend told me about earlier in the year. I'll share the recipe with you here!
For as long as I can remember, I’ve struggled with my weight, especially since starting a family over 25 years ago. Name a diet, and I've probably tried it. Nothing worked. Absolutely nothing!
I always knew having a child would bring a few extra pounds, but I didn’t realize just how hard it would be to stay in shape as a mom… even as a tall woman like me.
It only really hit me how much I’d let things slide when my doctor told me my blood sugar was too high and that I might develop diabetes…
Then, my friend Martha, told me about how she was seeing great results losing about 21 pounds in her first few weeks, just by drinking a few cups of a Costa Rican tea every day.
But how was that possible? It didn't seem fair because I had worked so hard to get no results whatsoever! Don't get me wrong, I was happy for her, however, I thought she might be exaggerating a bit. That being said, I could hear the excitement in her voice, so I knew there must be something to this. I decided to stay tuned and wait for her next update.
Then one day, I came across a story on Facebook about a woman a bit older than me who had lost over 160lbs with the exact same Costa Rican tea. 167 pounds to be precise!
When I saw this post on my feed I did some digging and I then realized that this gal lost her weight drinking the exact same tea recipe my friend Martha told me about! I felt compelled to call Martha again since she was the one who originally told me about the tea. I wanted to see how she was coming along with it now.
After that, I jumped right in head first with my new daily tea routine! I was so excited! The first thing I noticed was how much energy I had—and I wasn’t constantly fighting the urge to comfort eat anymore.
In fact, after drinking the tea in the morning, I wasn’t even hungry for hours.
In the first few weeks, I dropped almost 3 inches off my waistline without following any strict diet or even an exercise plan.
My doctor was pretty shocked that I was able to lose the weight so quickly, but he also explained the reasons why it works so well. He also said it made perfect sense and to keep it up!
He pointed out a study from Stanford University that shows that the tea's ingredients target the true cause of hormonal weight gain and stubborn fat.
Continuing my daily tea regiment, I quickly started regaining control over my eating habits and seeing real progress gave me a huge confidence boost—and I believe even helped me land a promotion at work!
I could have kept eating junk food like I did at first, but I no longer craved it. As I kept drinking the tea daily, I decided to eat healthier. Instead of pizza, I started choosing grilled chicken and veggies...
I felt amazing! Plus I could actually see my body starting to tone up!
I ended up losing a total of 60lbs, and my body completely transformed into a much more attractive shape as you can see from my picture above!
